The Frog Drum C Golden Gate is one of the brightest of all the Frog Drum scales. It is cheerful with a hint of sweet nostalgia.

The C Golden Gate is a Major-sounding scale built on the Lydian mode, the brightest of the musical modes. It is almost identical to the B Golden Arcadia, with each note stepped up one half-tone, except for the highest note, which steps up one full tone further, giving it that cherry on top of brightness, and making it a hexatonic scale rather than diatonic. It can be played with both Major and Minor sounds, and has numerous chords availble.

The C Golden Gate is a good choice for both beginners and advanced players and pairs well with the Frog Drum A Integral, E Low Pygmy, and D Celtic Minor.
